~Shalom~
*LOVE your neighbor as yourself*
I LOVE this command!
First,we LOVE G-d with all our heart mind soula nd strength;and, the second like to it is LOVE your neighbor as yourself THIS is the WHOLE DUTY of man..on these hang all the law and the prophets.
Well,as a Hebrew Christian, i would like to point out a two things:
1)*WHOLE DUTY* of a man on which all The Law and The Prophets is predicated...is LOVE. *WHOLE DUTY* has the same value and definition in Hebrew as *MARITAL DUTY/OBLIGATION* it is a binding to the will of The Father in Heaven..being MARRIED to HIS WILL.
2) Love and truth are interdependent; one CANNOT exist COMPLETLEY without the other.
EXAMPLE If your neighbor is a carpenter and you take his tools...even though the man is dependent upon those tools, works boots, even kind words,to work and feed his family...pay the rent and buy food...you murder his hope ..his livleyhood...when you remove the tools of his trade. Thou shalt not steal? Thou shalt not kill? We are admonished that IF it is in the power of OUR hands to do good..DO IT!
*LOVE is The OBLIGATION of TRUTH*
In Hebrew culture iit is well known that there is BALANCED OBLIGATION between the two.
I will explain: The OBLIGATION of the *poor man of whom there shall always remain a remnant is to lean upon the rich man* to bless him.
The OBLIGATION of the *rich man is to RUN AFTER the poor man* to bless him.
EACH is in turn blessed WITHIN hte perameters of COMFORT that G-d has blessed EACH with that the blessing in turn may arise OUT of The Overflow....of *COMFORT*
It is the overflow of comfort that from one to the other that brings both to common ground.
Knowing the truth is this: Each is blessed BECAUSE each knows how to fully LOVE..to Bless AND BE a blessing.

~Shalom~
Before I married *unorthodoxrabbi* I WAS a *poor young widow* yet rich in faith and love.
Daily I am reminded that G-d uses EVERYTHING!
For ten years I lived across the street from a church where I had served in numerous capacities for nine pastors.
When it wasknown that I had married he rabbi I was dismissed from my job, lost ,my 3 bedroom 2 story home of 10 years and had to move within 14 days. My previous injuries to my neck*broken in 7 places* made it difficult to carry even a small container of milk from the local store on *bad* days. I share this with GREAT joy: G-d visited me *in my affliction!
While walking home from the store I questioned G-d in my mind of all these things. he said that one day many will come and ask HOW did you make it? What did you do to get through it all?
No one was presently knocking the door down to help so it didn't seem that day was close as yet. I came home sat the milk on the porch and sat down. looking up into the night sky asnd The L-rd said to me*They were not here for You YOU were here FOR them*
Remarkably G-d had released ME from my position of service in accordance with His plan and not my assumptions.
He continued with*He showed me that they had a literal widow on the doorstep of the church and that He had afforded them the *opportunity* to live out their actions instead of only speaking words from the pulpit.
Faith without works is dead-works.
I told my mother that the Marines may ahve a few good men but the Army has the rst of them; My sweet grandmother heard the conversation and added~Then try the Navy~
When you place no breath into an action,it is not even a whisper of G-d's LOVE..merely..a by-word.
The VALUE of life experience is exquisite!
This element of character makes life worth the read andthe reading more than a story.
