Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

One statement from Tuesday's lesson intrigued me...

"Whether the Lord graciously offers his peace, protection and a prosperous life, or whether he sends warnings, destruction and death, people just don't seem to listen..." (trans. fr the French quarterly)

Why is that? It is true, but why DON'T we listen to God more than we do?

I think partly it is because people do not realize it is God who is offering such or sending such. Maybe the messages are misunderstood through those who *translate* them for others. Maybe some people just don't care.

Surely it is a miracle that there remained some good people in the generations before and following the flood... even though not everyone sat/sits around the campfires and sings KumBaYah..

Thank you, Beryl.

So in all things it is our priviledge to "know God" and
and nature is truly God's science room for man to understand
and to understand He is trustworthy.

Thanks,

Thank you, Beryl! That was so much clearer to me! Sometimes
there are simplier ways to say things as Jesus so often showed in His own instruction. Some who have more education around me tend to lean towards accepting modern sciences explanation so it does oftentimes become confusing. "For in Him we live and move and have our being."

Thanks, I have been blessed.
