Thanks for your prayers, everyone. I am back home safe. My sister's spirits are up and she was happy to see me. I spent the whole time in her daughter's apartment with her. I didn't get much sleep so I hope to catch up a little on that tonight.

Please continue to remember her in your prayers. They are trying a new type of chemo on her and say she has a slight chance at making it.

Hey Shane, glad to know that her spirits are improved and that you had the opportunity to spend some quality time with her. I am sure that it was a blessing for each of you.

My sister had a golf-ball tumor in her neck. A couple of weeks ago she was in the Mayo clinic in Rochester and I told her there was a local Adventist pastor there that could come up and pray with her. She asked our mother to contact him and he went up and annointed her and within two days the tumor disappeared to the naked eye. Her spirits have been up ever since.

That is wonderful news! God is so good! I'll still keep your sister in my prayers.

I'm glad you made a safe trip and are home again. I'm sure Mrs. Shane is glad you are home too!

Thanks for the update! Praise the Lord for His mercies!

My sister has taken a turn for the worse. Last night she was rushed to the hospital and put on a ventalater. She has pneumonia and her doctor is on vacation until after the New Year. So they are sitting tight now to find out if she is unable to breathe because of the pneumonia or because the tumors in her neck are growing.

Please remember her in your prayers. Her name is Ronda.

Ronda had a catscan today and they found the pneumonia has gotten worse and the cancer has spread to her liver and bones. The family made the decision to disconnect the ventilator and she died just a few minutes ago.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. I know that in her last days she had the support of her family and seems to have reconciled her life with Christ. Our blessed hope now is to see her inside of heaven's gates. Of my eleven brothers and sisters, she is the first to die. I am glad I was able to go and see her in November. She had prayed she would be able to spend one last Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family and it seems God was gracious and answered her prayer.
