I guess I will have to ask someone with an understanding of Hebrew. Any Hebrew scolars out there? I find that most promises in the Bible are central to the issue of Salvation. God is concerned primarily with our Salvation and most of the Bible is pointing to how we can survive this earth with our Salvation intact despite life's challenges. It is Satan's goal to get us diverted from our commitment to Jesus. The enemies of good are many. But God gives us all we need to combat what we need in the battle with Satan. God's right hand WILL save us and we can be assured of that. My point is that it is through trials that we GROW. God will not do away with the trials of this earth while we battle Satan. Many Christians are so short term focused that they are to interested in the current trials of this life which are really there for our good. We might even be able to put all our burdens on Him so fully that we can escape them? At least the spiritual trials.
