Twelve year old having surgery

My friend Jan's son Alex is having surgery today to remove a tumor on the inside of his nasal cavity. It has caused nosebleeds for him for years and he has been unable to breath through his nose. Poor kid! He will be in the hospital in Sacramento for a week following the surgery today (March 14, 2007). Please pray for him!

Update on Alex. Jan called me last night. He is out of surgery and in ICU He will be in there for about a week. Please pray for her and her family as this is quite a trial for them. Jan is the transporter for everything and she is staying at the hospital with Alex. She is going to be so drained!

Many thanks for all your prayers. I heard from Jan yesterday and Alex was doing so well that they sent him home days earlier than expected. He went home out of ICU! Isn't that great?
Jan said he can now smell and taste food again. What a blessing even bad smells and tastes are!
