Here are some questions I might ask my Sabbath School class to get the discussion started:
1. What was the common idea that each of these archeological discoveries should have produced in the mind of a person open to believing in the Bible?
2. Are there any other notable archeological discoveries, not mentioned in the lesson, that prove the Bible is true?

I guess I just don't understand how "seeing is believing?" Jesus says, "blessed are those who have not seen and yet believe." Other scriptures include various eye witness accounts where people doubted what their eyes saw. Faith is not of that which is seen but of that which is yet to be revealed. Do I have things all wrong? Don't git it. Sorry.

Not necessarily. It's better if you don't have to see to believe. But if you are a visual person, God does provide archeological evidences and scientific proofs to help strengthen your faith.
Some things that God - and Jesus - do (and did) are so incredible that people have a hard time believing because they simply cannot relate what they are experiencing to their previous experiences.

I believe that is the subject of this week's lessons (archeology) and next week's lessons (science).
