This is from Wikipedia: Mileva Marić (December 19, 1875 – August 4, 1948; Serbian Cyrillic: Милева Марић) was a Serbian mathematician, Albert Einstein's first wife (1903-1919), and mother of three children with him. She was Einstein's companion, colleague, and confidante. There are some claims that she may have contributed to Einstein's early research but the exact degree of her participation, if any at all [1], in his discoveries is uncertain, and is the subject of many polemics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mileva_MaricClick below for a nice picture of Einstein's tongue!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Einstein_tongue.jpg:)

Just acknowledging a reality we already knew - this will be a more occasional feature than a daily one.
I made a list of 22 things I needed to do yesterday, and got the easiest 9 of them done, but one more was added over night, and the rest of the list will take me the rest of the month. Then I'll be moving house and writing some science textbooks from next month, so time is a fraction tight.
But I'll still try to kick something in here pretty regularly, and for a science fix you can always check bevin's astronomy thread. ;)

The heaviest human brain ever recorded weighed 5 lb. 1.1 oz. (2.3 kg.).
The average maximun human brain weight by age 15 yrs. is 46 oz. (2.87 lbs)
Human brain weight is around 2 percent of total human bodyweight; in mice it is around 3 percent. Which means, I'm sorry to say, that mice have 50 percent more brains/body weight than humans beings do! ;)
Check it out here.
