As most know, 3ABN can be viewed online. Last night on 3ABN Today, they mentioned that on a weekend they typically have between 7,000 and 8,000 viewers online. That is computers, there could be more than one person watching on a given computer. During the Ten Commandment weekend they had over 19,000 viewers online.

Unfortunately, Danny did not answer either Gail's or my question about 3ABN ratings so we do not know if they have access to the ratings that would tell them how many are watching via satellite. Satellite dishes do not give feedback so when I am watching a program on my satellite, there is no way for anyone to know what I am watching unless I participate in a poll or a survey. There are various groups that do such polls and surveys and that is how ratings are tracked. However to have access to them, I believe 3ABN would have to pay and that may be an expense they feel they cannot justify since they do not sell advertising time and thus do not need documentation of their ratings.
