"Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am." Isaiah 58:9

This whole chapter, that of Isaiah 58, is well worth the read. The heading reads- A description of true religion

Here God tells us that if we would be willing to do His work by dealing mercifully with those in need and with others, THEN your light will break forth, your health shall spring forth speedily, and you will be surrounded, on the front by your righteousness (good reputation) and at the rear by the glory of the Lord (verse 8)

As the Lord puts the love for the lost within you, you will have joy to do this, His work. It is then that the blessings attend your actions. Blessing comes to all as a result of true religion, God's religion.
