David had those sons who were named there in Chronicles but it says that he had other sons by his concubines. There were at least a dozen concubines. Surely there was more than one daughter but they didn't count long as they stayed out of trouble! Somewhere it speaks of 50 sons but I cant find it right now.

Yes, I know that David had at least that many. I saw that fact somewhere. The number could even be higher than that

Yeah ... And David was perfect and a man after God's own heart. What does that say about God's heart? OR is it that we just don't understand God's heart. Today we consider such sins of sex as the worst of all and worthy of disfellowship.

For sure ... you would never see David in a leadership position in the SDA church even if he did escape disfellowship by being in some liberal church.

Incidentally, David was never referred to as a man after God's own heart after his sin with Bathsheba. Check it out.
