We had spoken about how many active threads there are in THIS forum vs how many active threads there are in THAT forum.... and a lot of us know what took place then.....

Finally tonight I went over...and giving the benefit of the doubt... waiting until most everybody is in bed....and BEFORE the forum should change to a new day.... I copied the following to paste over here, from THAT forum...

That was for Sunday, December 6... just before that forum turned to a new day.

On THIS forum... which has already turned to a new day... and after looking all over for that other thread, it is now after 2:30 in the morning MY time... there are already 20 topics being displayed.

Thanks, the other thread is in the humor section.

There is person over there who is doing a good job and working hard to keep threads going. He single handily seems to keep well over 50% of the thread active. One time when I checked he either created or kept active everyone that I had checked.

You will have to admit that what you saw there is pure dedication. I know for a fact that it's hard to find dedicated and loyal employees.

Thanks, the success is due to the moderators, and people promoting the forum, which Bruce has done a lot of in the past, and I appreciate that. As well as the financial contributors that help pay for the listing in the search engines, and to Mark who is building an AWESOME new front page for us. The list goes on.

Those who put up interesting topics, including cartoons, make this interesting to come back to.

Since that thread you refer to started on December 20 you could not have thought about that count BEFORE that, as you stated on your first post here. Dec 6 was well before the start of that thread.

Now if you meant Jan 6 I counted 29 active threads on VOAFon Jan 6,which is that other forum found at

www.online-adventist.org

Get the facts straight Del.
One more point. Clubadventist is on Greenwich mean time which is six hours ahead of VOAF so naturally they would have MOST of their most active threads active by 230 AM your time. I have seen that 70 percent of all threads are posted to on BOTH forums from 6 pm PST to 12 AM PST. So VOAF would become very active AFTER CLubadventists prime postings. Your analysis do not state that fact.

I have NO idea what you are meaning when you talk about December 6 and December 20 and all the rest of it.... it really was a very simple matter Bruce.

Okay....checking it out... I DO see that I said December 6, rather than January 6. I do apologize. I am quite aware that small mistakes like that will bring one up short in your court of law. That should have read January 6...which will make the entirety make more sense.

I went to VOAF. It was late... the night of the sixth, but before the clock changed to a new day for VOAF. Most of the posters had discontinued posting... with perhaps a stray one here or there... there ARE a couple of posters on BOTH forums who post in the middle of the night, we know, don't we?

I took the count there, copied it and brought it back to C/A... where, as YOU mentioned, we are on GMT so it was now the 7th on C/A.

You will note that my post was made at 09:38 AM. MY time in Montana was 1:38 AM... YOUR time, in California was 12:38 AM

You will remember that I also stated that I had combed through the threads on C/A to try to find the original thread about this... I didn't think to look in "humor".... and I finally gave up and began a new thread.

Now Bruce, I'm going to tell you that your argument wouldn't hold even a drop of water in a public court of law. People make honest to goodness mistakes every day of the year. Even the secular courts recognize that and give allowance when it is evident what took place. Do you believe that the children of God should do less?

Do not take things so hard. I know it was an honest mistake. I was simply pointing out the flaw in your statement. NOTHING MORE was meant by it. You know me. I like to point out the real facts when a mistatement was made. Now that you corrected yourself no harm done.

Again I went back and recounted ALL the Jan 6 threads and there were 29 of them active with at least one post on Jan 6 of this year.

Tonight there were 47 active threads on VOAF at 11:35 PM CST. Who knows if there was more after that.

I took that straight from the VOAF counter.

Also Bruce, I have seen what you have done to make VOAF "active" when these things have been pointed out. Don't think that you are fooling anyone.... even in the most complex situations eventually the truth rises to the top, you know.

I have said all that I'm going to say on the matter Bruce. I also know that you love to get an argument going. I am not going to argue about it at all.

I am stating you are mistaken. I went back and manually counted all the threads on all forums on VOAF and there were 29 active threads on January 6. You can do the same Del. ANYONE can do that.

If you are implying I alone keep that forum active I am flattered you think so. BUT if you are saying I am the ONLY one posting over there you are saddly mistaken. One only has to post though provoking threads to get responses. I do that. I get tons of responses to my posts. I am NOT the only one posting over there Del.

You really need to lighten up. I know people tend to be more grumpy at night when they stay up so late. Maybe you should hit the hay.
