The KJV vs. NIV has been debated for quite some time. Now here comes the TNIV 'Todays New International Version'. Read about the newest gender-neutral bible to be released. http://dailynews.yahoo.com/h/ap/20020128/ts/new_bible_1.htmlSo what do you think?

I liked some of the examples given in that article Gregory.
Maybe a gender-neutral (although I don't like that term) Bible will help in understanding some scripture passages more clearly.
The Bible does teach the priesthood of all believers and the salvation of all on an individual basis so I suppose anything that helps to clarify that is okay. I believe that God will always protect His Word so that the message of salvation will be clear and easy to grasp.

Lesley:
That was Greg.
However, I Do not take offense, as I trust you won't the next time I spell your name Leslie.

Gregory: Once again, most humble apologies. I have an unfortunate habit of wanting to use a full name and not the abbreviation. ie I don't like being called Les. Also I am going to plead age and insanity in the heat I have experienced today in a West Australian summer. Sorry. Lesley/ie
I still like some of the ideas of a gender neutral Bible.

Lesley:
You don't have to apologize. The only reason that I made a public comment is that I want to public to know that Greg and Gregory are two different people. Actually, I am commonly called Greg, as well as Gregory, in my personal life. But, in these public fourms I think that the public should know that we are different.
Yes, I will have to plead age, and insanity also. I am very likely to sometime call you Leslie, instead of Lesley. So, it trust that you will forgive me at that time.
Anyhow, I think this is kinds funny.
Have a good day.
