Here is an update on the situation where my son is working:

Since the recent decision and announcement of the United Nations to scale down their operations in Liberia, crime has skyrocketed and Kevin calls it "out of control".

Earlier today the wife of one of Kev's Liberian staff was robbed and murdered. Another staff member has been robbed after being hit over the head with a gun.

In another town a large weapons cache was uncovered (AK47s). There was a recent coup plot but those people arrested and put into jail.

NGO compounds have also been targeted. The robbers storm the place when the security gate is opened to let a vehicle through.

And on it goes... The work continues but some prayer for the kind of protection that God provides would be a GREAT witness to those the NGOs are trying to reach
