Sorry to hear about danny's illness. Glad that the physicians were able to do a bypass graft on his heart.Heart problems are related to other things beside diet, such as stress. Hopefully Danny will be able to de-stress his life more as Doug Bachelor is assuming some of his (Danny's) responsibilities. 2 thumbs up for Danny, and we wish you God's speed and a quick recovery.. I hope and pray that Danny will recover soon. He had been and instrument in spreading the Goodnews thru 3ABN. God will bless him and heal him just like what He always do to his children.

I will pray in agreement with others for Danny's healing. Jesus also said, " Blessed are you when men revile you and say all kinds of evil against for my name's sake." Danny's certainly doing something right! May Our heavenly Father bless Danny's battle with health and restore him to his place of ministry speedily. The truth is this place is NOT our home. Wow... I guess it's more serious when it's a celebrity... Just look at the outpouring of support.

I hope Danny's return to health will be blessed and quick and that ongoing complications won't linger for many years as they have for us.

Wow ... you people really are unbelievable. This is why my husband and I left the Church. A man who has done probably more for God than all of you put together simply asks for a prayer of thanks and support during a period of illness and you start ragging on him about his diet!!!!

I don't pray very often these days, but I will for Danny Shelton. He has brought happiness to my mother with 3ABN. We used to belong to a small church in rural Australia, with a regular attendance of around 20-30 members spread over an area covering over 1000 square kilometers. 3ABN's programs have made it possible for all members who cannot attend Church regularly to stay in touch with uplifting and devotional programs. It's also made it possible for people like me and people searching for the Lord to be inspired.

I hope some of you remember some of the texts from the Old & New Testament like- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine and Jesus talked about what comes out of the mouth defiling a man rather then what goes into his mouth. The Lord is also clear as to what we are to do for those sick,mourning,hungry,naked, etc. Danny, fear not for Our Heavenly Father knows the good plans He has for you and He will not be slow to help you! We all at one time or another lead people to believe that God is an inflexible tyrant who is only waiting for evidence of impropriety, to pounce on us, the better to exclude us from the Kingdom. This is not an attribute of the few but is a common denominator of the human race. Perhaps those of us who forget that, need prayers even more than Danny.

Danny Shelton has been a main part of our life. We live in a rural area without cable tv, the few channels that we received on antenna were fuzzy. When we got our 3ABN dish and received a crystal clear picture, 3ABN was all my family watched. Since then Hope TV has also come on and the experience is just getting better. The familiar faces of Danny Shelton and the other people of 3ABN has brought us closer to Jesus in our walk with Him. We are sure that God has more plans for Danny in the future. We will be praying for his quick and full recovery.

3ABN has made a complete difference in my life, in my belefs, in my trust in God! I reccomend 3ABN whenever I can to everyone. I had a dish installed on my sons house hoping to save him from his addictive life style. He passed away 3 days ago. I only hope that he watched.
God has used Danny in such an enormous way in these end times. I will be praying for him and 3ABN.

May this experince serve to warn SDAs that true health reform is needed by all of us,but satan will use those who are in the publics eye to cast doubt on the plan of God. Its about time we listen the Spirit of Prophecy.

Praying for a speedy return to health for Danny, and for all the thousands of folks who have heart surgery every day all over the world, regardless of what they ate or didn't eat, or what their family history was.

Every sick person deserves our concern and our prayers, whether we perceive their illness as being "self inflicted" or not. We might just be wrong.

When they say "heart disease" they mean that already his heart has suffered irreparable damage due to loss of blood flow in the arteries that supply the heart. Danny has "advanced heart disease." I get so confused with regard to how a vegetarian can acquire clogged arteries which contribute to heart disease. How much do our genes contribute to our health irregardless of our healthy lifestyle?

I can only pray that this will in some mysterious way glorify God in heaven. Danny needs a miracle to return to normal life. God is willing and able to help. We must ask.

Not necessarily suggesting this to be the reason for Danny's difficulty, but it was many years ago that it was determined by those suppose to know, that margarine was a healthy substitute for butter. It was not until many years later, when the damage was already done, that those individuals who felt margarine could be eaten without regard to amount were advised that margarine was actually worse for a person than butter. It seems important for all to use personal common sense above and beyond the advice of the experts.

There are many ways in which the arteries can be clogged. I am thinking of TOO MUCH fat -- of any kind, plus maybe lack of exercise. I don't know, or would not even guess, in Danny's case.

I have only heard a few cooking demonstrations on ABN, but I know that I was shocked at the amount of both sugar and fat (oil) that was being used.

However, it is no use speculating as to the cause of Danny's problem. It could be just hereditary.
