RELIGIOUS LIBERTY NEWSFLASH!

American Destiny.”WHEN: November 12 – 14, 2004
WHERE: Camp Cedar Falls, San Bernardino Mountains
REGISTRATION: online:

WHAT IS IT? A training event for all who want to understand
the role of the United States in the world today, in
Biblical prophecy, and the vital intersection of church and
state. Every church is urged to sponsor or recruit someone
to represent them.
WHY SHOULD I ATTEND? We have assembled the best panel of
presenters who will integrate the historical, biblical,
prophetic, and legal dimensions for an in-depth
understanding of religious liberty in America today, and
its relevance to the gospel that will powerfully inspire
and enlighten. This is a MUST ATTEND event!
Understand that while this weekend will be very
educational, it is a revival weekend. Expect the Holy
Spirit to challenge you to change your life, to gain a new
depth of insight into the mission and message of
Seventh-day Adventists and to obtain new tools that you can
use for ministry in your local church and community.
Since this weekend is interactive, there will be ample
opportunity for discussion and reflection on the material
presented.
The keynote speakers are:
Nicholas Miller, attorney, former Executive Director of the
Council on Religious Freedom. Nick is one of the foremost
advocates and activists on religious liberty issues in
America today. He has written numerous legal briefs before
the United States Supreme Court, and lower Federal and
State Courts defending religious freedom, and is a
sought-after, national speaker.
Greg Hamilton, Director of Public Affairs & Religious
Liberty, North Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day
Adventists. Greg is a revival speaker who integrates his
academic study of church-state relations with gospel and
Biblical prophecy in a most inspiring way. Greg also serves
as Executive Director of the Northwest Religious Liberty
Association, an effective advocacy group on religious
liberty issues.
Alan Reinach, attorney, Director of Public Affairs &
Religious Liberty, Pacific Union Conference of Seventh-day
Adventists, President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
State Council, and writer of this E.lert. My main
presentation will introduce the biblical and prophetic
principles that govern church-state relations, and relate
these principles to the Three Angels’ Message so as to
better understand our mission and message.
