Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Brian has told me a couple of times that I shouldn't promote motors. When he had told me that I wondered why since I haven't been promoting them. When I came across this post recently it occurred to me that maybe he had read it and that is why he had told me not to promote them.

I made up tracts long ago and have been promoting Christian TV for a number of years. I leave the tracts all over in places like waiting rooms and shopping malls. I use to promote Sky Angel with them. Once Hope Channel started on AMC4, I added FTA - but never mentioned motors. This past year I removed Sky Angel as they are eliminating their satellite service and adding more secular programming.

I believe Christian TV and radio is the best way to spread the message in our society. I use to hand out lots of books. I gave away many Steps To Christ, Desire of Ages and Great Controversy books. But the reality is that few ever read any more. So now I focus on TV and radio.

Currently I am running an ad for GloryStar in a newspaper that publishes a political commentary I write. They sell me the ad for half price since they don't pay me for my commentary. I am hoping more in this area will buy these dishes and more will be reached with our message.

This looks like a good idea. Actually I tried both the church installer and the professional. But it does not help if the nuts and bolts that the manual says you should have are not present and not even claimed to be in the contents.

Those who sell should try to actually install and see if all the parts needed are present.

My two cents.

I can personally assure you that in the systems that we sell, I and three technicians assembled them with the parts kits while following the instructions that are provided and actually have requested that the factory to make changes and include a few extra parts ...... Every shipment is randomly tested and parts inventoried.

With that said, I feel your pain! I assembled a plasma monitor wall mount last week and had to make two trips to the hardware store for an incorrect length bolt and a missing nylon metric threaded nut.

Thanks Brian ... It is good to have you here on CA.

But ... it is good that you weren't here when I was having fits trying to get someone to set up the system !!!

You are doing a great work. I am now enjoying my system now. I even like all the foreign stations. Hey ... I never knew I would be able to watch Al Jazeera TV. Makes me seem like quite the radical ... if I wasn't already considered a radical.

Blessings to you and your work ..............
