I look forward to these programs. I do hope the food is low fat and high fiber. Much of what I see on 3ABN is vegetarian but high fat and low fiber.

Well said, Shane. I don't watch them much -- but much of their cooking makes me shudder! It is certainly not healthy cooking.

I watched this tonight. It is OK. The chef mixes Bible teachings into his presentation which is nice. The food was... OK. He used vegetarian turkey slices which are not low-fat or high fiber nor are they available in many countries watching the Hope Channel. He used margarine in his white sauce and I would have used corn starch. He did give me the tip of boiling broccoli in salt water to keep it bright green.

I will keep tuned in for future episodes. I would like to see a focus on lower fat and high fiber recipes.

I think it is very important that we study the PRINCIPLES that are taught by Ellen White, as given by God. The recipes will change from what they ate then, but the principles of low fat, high fibre, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables remain. These are the principles that our Governments are now promoting! For an Adventist presentation not to be following the advice of both Ellen White and our present day Government Health services -- well, that should be changed! There are just such a variety of good, healthful, very tasty dishes to be had.

OK, here is the key. Since the program is sponsored by Worthington/Kellogg, it is going to have these products in every show. This past week was a recipe for Tender Bits stew. Pretty good, they even used corn starch this time. Tender Bits is one of the low fat analogs that Worthington/Kellogg sells - also available at our food store here.
