Yes, there are many man-made doctrines that are being palmed off as commandments of God, Mt 15:9, but "If any one chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching [didaskalia=doctrine] comes from God or whether I speak on my own." Jn 7:17 NIV. Jesus gave a command to teach [disdasko], indoctrinate everyone who is willing to listen to what he taught, i.e. what He taught as doctrine. Gerry
