Walter Veith is a scientist who used to teach evolution for about 20 years on a university. After God intervened in his life he has become a SDA and teaches creationism. Please check out the following link for his testimony. All his videos are online and is a must-see for every adventist:

I love Walter's seminars and would recommend it to any Christian. He is not afraid of the truth and does not beat around the bush.

All of us here are with you on this! Don't give up. Whatever you decide I hope you decide realizing that life is worth living and there is always hope... even when we think there is none. I think living in Holland is a challenge of itself!!! As far as your GF, don't loose your confidence in your abilities or yourself. Go on and find another one. I've had several heartbreaks before I found my match! And I was poor and destitute international student who nobody wanted to talk to either :). So, don't give up. When the world says you can't... don't believe it. All of us are here behind you saying that YOU CAN!
