There you go!
She was a wonderful person, the mother of 3 sons and 2 daughters. She spoke no English but only Navaho, and she made great Navaho bread and lamb stew on a stove, a picture of which I will post right now. I will also post a picture of her and her husband outside their cabin.

Many of the Navahos had these kinds of stoves in their homes. They made good indian bread and delicious lamb stew on it.

We talked for over an hour in the Southern Pacific train-yards while I made a few exposures. He showed me a book with his picture in it of when he was a Marine fighting the Japanese during World War II.
