Is there a difference between The Antichrist and one of the 'many antichrists' that have arisen?

I stopped watching Oprah when I saw an episode where there was a couple who had a young son that wanted to be a girl instead of a boy, I was so angry because Oprah kept on taking the side of the mother who didn't see a problem with it. She was going on and on about letting the child decide and whatever. I think men need to instill the true value of masculinity in their sons at a young age. It was easy to see that is was just Oprah's feminist theology that was blurring her vision and disallowing her from understanding the foolish advice she was trying to give to the father. She was trying to say because the son would say that he hated his father because he wouldn't let him wear a dress, the father should give in and be less forceful.

The truth is I am not a psychologist but I know that most scientists don't understand the true emotional differences between men and women. So most likely a young boy could not "know" that he wanted to be a woman. That is to say how could a young boy know what a girl is inherently if even the scientists don't know. Everyone knows the external differences between males and females so most likely the young boy wanted to be externally a female. The way you feel externally has nothing to do with your personal opinion of yourself it has to do with the way others treat you. So most likely the young boy wanted people to treat him the way people treat young girls.

So my diagnosis is that the young boy just wanted to feel precious and lovable, but it was a problem because young boys don't get as much "precious" attention. I don't think he wanted to be a girl he just wanted to be a girl superficially, therefore he wanted to be treated as girls are treated.

This argument also goes for adults who want "changes."

There is quite a leap from deciding not to watch Oprah because of disagreement with what she says, to calling her The Antichrist.

I rarely seen TV at the time she is on, this is not based on my personal opinion of what she says but a on a desire to be very careful in accusations we level against other individuals.

I am not sure of your logic or theory but when did I call her an anti-christ. I did not start this post? I simply added to the post someone else started because many people may take things she says to heart. So I think the person who started this post was simply stating that Oprah denies Jesus as the only way to salvation. Therefore assuming you take the Bible seriously Oprah would equal the antichrist.

Do you believe this to be an inaccurate statement. Are you accusing me of bearing false witness against Oprah, on what grounds!?

That is true but their are many antichrists and they are the ones who deny Jesus. Oprah has openly denied Jesus and promoted this belief on her show.

She's a new ager allright. What a shock, a "celebrity" who is spiritually confused.

I seldom watch Oprah. There have been occasions in the past when her show had a compelling theme, or some interesting personality I wanted to see, and I would set the recorder and watch it later. That hasn't happened in awhile.
Everyone knows Oprah is a bit new age. That's why actors like John Travolta, and Tom Cruise go on her show on a frequent basis. Hollywood is new age. Not only that, there are are least a dozen new age, blatantly occultish shows on television. Ghost whisperer, ghost hunter. There's that show on cbs on friday nights just before the sabbath starts. Watch some of the cartoon shows for the kiddies. Casper the friendly ghost - that's old. There are about 20 or 30 more cartoons out, or more, that are blatantly occultish.

Or, just listen to main stream christiandom. Just about all the well known churches practice some form of occult. If someone's loved one dies, a religious person will be interviewed and they always say "he or she is in a better place. They are up in heaven right now looking down at us."
If Oprah is the antichrist she has company. There are a bunch of them out there.

According to this Word, it would appear that the "antiChrist " in neither "one", restricted to gender, nor waiting for Oprah to show up before revealing "itself".
In fact, it seems we are living in an age that reveals countless antiChrists constantly, with only the mind of Christ in us as revealed in the sure Word of God, as a sure defence against being misled ourselves.

What Oprah needs is our prayers, to be delivered from the deceptions that clearly put even the most religious person in danger.

I was responding only to the title and to the general topic of the thread. If yours happened to be the post under which I responded, that was a chance happening. No personal allusions were intended.

This is to no one in particular. Just a general observation concerning our tendency to refer to people as the Anti-Christ or other simular labels.
