A thought came to my mind from reading through some older forms.
In the Church... and I don't mean simply inside the walls but as a family... We have these maxims and such like
Traditionalist VS/& Dynamic thinkers
Liberals VS/& Conservatives
Religious VS/& Spiritual
And some I personally don't like...
Conference VS/& Self Supporting
White Church VS/& Black Church
etc...
I really believe that we have allowed these maxims to enter our belief and have accepted them as categories of worships, classes, etc. I believe they are divisive, discriminative, stunt our growth and not in line with God's plans now, where God's worshippers worship him in "Spirit and in Truth" as it says in John 4:23-24
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jesus was Dynamic yet the Bible says that he is God and that God changes not and yet still is infinite and then again it says that “as his custom was” he went into the temple on Sabbath... All in all. The Angels no doubt keep the "tradition" of Obedience, love, loyalty, and patients... See what I mean.
I'd like to talk about this more with other and see what you think. I really believe this is something that we have allowed to grow up in our church and cause division. I also believe that this issues stems from generations and may not statistically cross "generational boundaries." Do you agree? Yes/No...
How can we bridge the gap, close the gulf, and grow in (not simply maintain) reverence for God and his sons daughters and creation, love, unity, fear of God?
