Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

There isn't a good reason for a persons life to end. Why are we cursed for all generations for a sin someone made when time began?

I think sin is like an invisible infection. We are all infected, some worse than others. However what i don t understand is that some say God knew beforehand that people would sin and that therefore the salvation plan was made before the beginning of the world. But why then would God present the image of fallen mankind as something that happened totally unexpected? Maybe he knew that things were going to get out of hand, but not in such a tremendous way. We don t know how God sees the world. I think we are accustomed to this place and thereby we are all blind.

I don't mean to give a snippet answer to your serious question ... but just let me throw out one possibility cubensis.

I think we die that HE might live. Just as HE died that WE might live. What I am saying here is that each of us contribute to the total story of SIN. We demonstrate how sin impacts us.We can illustrate in a small way how we can make the right decisions against sin and with God to show a better way of life. We prove to the Universe that God's way is best.

Our death shows that Satan's way only leads to misery. It is an important lesson that ALL in the Universe need to know. Sin can never return again. It would seem that we all must be REALLY dense to have to see SO much misery to be convienced. But God must surely know the extent that is needed.

Not to seem morbid but death itself is an honor a gift, an act of sympathy and peace.

What would it be for a cancer patient to never die, or a person who got into a horrible car accident.

Death IN IT SELF is actually a gift.

It is life that is horrible!

You would be well in your right to ask why life is so horrible and why do people suffer; but death is not an offense.

If you do ask the question on why life is so horrible, well the answers are in the Bible.

The question was more aimed at a scientific point of view. When people tell me about evolution and say God doesn't exist, I think about death. If our bodies repair themselves, and we are self sustainable, then why do we age and die/ Why do you start from a fetus, then grow into a man or woman, then when you are in your 80s and more you are frail and weak? There seems to be no purpose to growing older except to eventually die. This is why I beliueve in something controlling the universe. Everything hads a beginning and an end.

This is actually one of the reasons why I don't believe in evolution...

There are three possible states of reality; death,
immortality then evolution; in that order. All living objects are
in a constant state of death, trying to make repairs and
maintain systems' actions. The next state would be
equilibrium or immortality. A cell gaining enough
energy to repair a wound as it is attempting to "form."
The last and unattainable state would be evolution.

I believe immortality is attainable mathematically, you just have to be perfect or never get hurt or breathe pollution. I believe it is mathematically impossible for an object to make itself more complex and evolve.
