Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Here is a question I might use to start a Sabbath School class discussion:

What does Jesus' death on the cross REALLY mean?
Jesus' death on the cross means that:

Periodically clear sins? It should be a daily dying to self.

The cross can not save us from our sins so why should it be worshiped? Only Christ and what He did there.

Jesus is the only one who could die for our sins, and for us to try to do what He did - well, is that making us into gods? We need to be 'like' Him in character and manner, but we could never do what He did!

Our characters will not be near good enough either. Once we get to heaven ... the Father has to hide his face and "behold not" our characters. They are too painful to behold.

What i do think of the death of Jesus is that if Jesus did not died there would have not been no chance for us humans hear on this earth. It was the only way out,it was very hard 4 God 2 had send his only beloved son down 2 this sinfull world 2 save his children from they enemy.Greater love than that has no man.

The Teacher's quarterly asks the following question, anyone care to give an answer to how they would explain the meaning of Christ death to a child:

Jesus died on the cross to save us. How can someone dying save anyone? How would you explain Jesus’ death and the purpose of His death to a tenyear- old? How would you explain it to someone who has never heard of Jesus Christ before? See 1 Peter 1:3–9.

When you put it like that--no, Jesus was the only One to die for our sins as the pure and spotless Lamb.

I was looking at it from the point that the Lamb of God Jehovah did more than die for our sins there so I must...

A. I must die to and in Christ daily.

B. I must turn the other cheek and and to ask for forgiveness of those that want to hurt me yet count it all joy.

C. Think of those around me and give encouragement to others in times of trouble and distress.

There is NO WAY I would want to be like God. There is no person on earth nor universe that has that much wisdom and never would in a few hundred billion years. Too much responsibility and the fact He wants to be my Best Friend is all that I could ever want. It will be just grand to reflect Him though.

One can never make self pure and blameless and after the 2nd Coming, sin will become a far distant memory and will never again be called to mind; Prise the Lord!!

Try this one on for size...

The life of faith is where you by faith trade places with Christ, so that you are in Christ on the Cross, and Jesus is in you. Thus, when you see Jesus' cross you see your cross too. It is you on the cross as well as Jesus. Likewise, the life you now live by faith is the life of Jesus in you. As long as you stay in and maintain this faith relationship you are safe, just as when the person stayed in one of the cities of refuge they were safe.

You are to be in Jesus and Jesus is to be in you.

Galatians 2:20
Romans 6:4-6
Romans 8:4
Col. 3:3
John 14:20

If however you choose to leave this faith relationship, then there is no safety at all.

Thus Jesus is bearing the punishment for YOUR sin, because you are on the cross with Him, and the Father sees Jesus, instead of you because Jesus is in you.

Most Christians see John 3:16 as the text depicting the gospel, but actually it only shows half of the gospel. Galatians 2:20 shows the complete gospel.
