What do you fear or look forward to most as far as the Second Coming of Christ is concerned?

Parade Orange Registered: 01/15/05 Posts: 1150 Loc: hopefully in Church and not on...	are people that honest with each other in a church setting? where people listen and reflect and think about themselves and see themselves in other sinners? and answer with transparency and truth? and dont give in to rhetoric and bible verses? and adventisms? _________________________ All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD "there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25 That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD. Disapointments will wean us away wordly occupations. Even sin(when repented of) becomes a mechanism to push us closer to HIM as we experience His Love and Forgiveness.

In the Movie 'Hook' staring Robin Williams he forgot how to fly and tofly he had to be sprinkled with fairy dust and think one happy thought! That happy thought was his children. Jesus went to the cross with a few happy thoughts and one was you spending eternity with himself face to face. The JOY he had was you being redeemed. Seeing the actual person of JESUS would mean looking in HIS Eyes and seeing that kind of enveloping love covering you on the spot!!! _________________________ All progress in the Spiritual Life is knowing and Loving GOD "there is non upon earth that I desire besides YOU" PS 73:25 That perspective changes EVERYTHING-suffering and adversity are the means that makes us hungry for GOD.
