Bravus Husband and Father Registered: 09/05/04 Posts: 7113 Loc: Brisbane, Australia	A striking idea from this week's sermon, and perhaps one that feeds into the long-running 'different beliefs in Adventism' thread. The illustration is from the book 'The Empty Raincoat', and the notion is that, rather than focusing on the edges of our religion, it's better to focus on the centre. If we focus on the edges we become obsessed with figuring out who's in and who's out. If we focus on the centre, and put Jesus there, we realise that we're all growing closer to Him, but we all have more growing to do. Our focus becomes growing and helping others to grow toward the centre, rather than spending our energy on what amounts to choosing who to exclude. _________________________ If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate
