Here is a question I might use to get a Sabbath School discussion started:

What were the instructions Jesus gave His disciples for their first missionary venture? Which ones still apply today?

I selected the message they were to bear to the lost sheep of Israel--because that is what He told them first.
"...go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand."

THEN they were to relieve the sick, raise the dead and cast out devils...

THEN if they were not welcomed...to shake the dust from their shoes and continue on their way.

They were to preach the soon coming of the kingdom and if they were rejected to move on. BUG where they were there, they were to do as Jesus did and care for the body as well as the soul.
