– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.

“To be honest with you, i am so angry right now that i am thinking about throwing eggs at my local church. I am not gonna do that of course, but that is how i feel after years of putting my trust and hope in Jesus. At least i have learned some important lessons; don t trust God, be responsible for your own living and don t let other people convince you concerning religious matters, no matter how good they may sound, reality will prove that these are just myths. God doesn t care even about his own people. God wants you to feel unworthy miserable worms, but at the same time he just doesn t give a damn about you. Only if i were God, there would be justice...Unfortunately i am just a little worm.”

I have thought about this kind of stuff for some time now and have created several things to help get my point across. (One link is below.)

You said “God doesn’t care even about his own people” and that is exactly what Satan wants us to feel. As long as we believe that, he has us exactly where he wants us. All he wants is to make God look bad. So far, it appears that he has gotten you to believe that lie, for the most part.

From my own experience I can tell you that God DOES care about each of us. I have seen times where He kept me alive. I have seen times where, when all else failed, He came through, doing way more than I imagined possible. God really loves us; I am fully convinced, based on my own life.

Years ago I questioned for myself as to how to know if there even was a God like the Bible tells us, One who is loving, all knowing and able to be everywhere at once. How can there be such a Being who created not only this world, but the entire universe? That was my basic question and I needed a logical way of proving Him one way or another.

It took me 5 years, but I was able to prove to myself that because there are things written in the Bible that were written many years before they happened and then they came true, that there is a real God. It is logical that if someone knows what is going to happen years before it takes place then they certainly know more than I do. It follows that if He says something else, then it is something I can believe also.

I have proved to myself that the Bible really is God’s holy word and so I believe what is says. I may not understand it, but I believe it.

You wrote:
Quote:

"And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." (Luke 12:4)

"Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple..." (John 8:59)

"After these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Jewry, because Jews sought to kill him." (John 7:1)

A case of do as I say, not as I do!

I do not see this as a case of “Do as I say, not as I do.” Jesus proved that this was not the case when He later was perfectly willing to die, but only when it was His time to die. He actually told His disciples that He was going to Jerusalem to be killed, to die for us. He knew in advance that He would be killed, yet He went there. He was no coward, only much wiser than those who wanted to kill Him. He came from heaven on a mission to make it possible for us to have eternal life and if He had allowed Himself to be killed before everything was played out then the Devil would have won.

It was for you that He hid Himself, not because of fear. It was for you that He later allowed the Jews to hang Him on a cross and kill Him.

Years ago I tried to step back (so to speak) and take a look at the biggest picture I could find from the whole Bible. What’s the whole story? Here is what I came up with: http://www.bibletimelines.org/big_picture_start.htm (Clicking on this link should take you to a page that will allow you to choose how you view this information. Once you start the presentation, please wait for each page to finish displaying before moving on. Some “pages” are slow it seems.)

I am sorry that the Devil has convinced you that God does not care, but the truth is that God does care. God does not want us to feel like worms, but like children of the King of the Universe. (Why should the Devil, who once was a follower of God, want you to feel like God cares? The Devil turned his back on God and wants everyone else to do the same.)

Don’t let the Devil win by believing his lies about God. God loves you much more than you are giving Him credit for. Continue to be a truth-seeker. Get to know Him and you will see what I am talking about. (There are several "Creation Nuggets" on www.BibleTimelines.ORG that might assist you in getting to know Him better.)

Blessings

Hi Truthseeker. I pray you are feeling better and at peace. No matter who you are or what you are feeling. We love to have you here. Being 'religious' is not all that great. The Jews were 'religious' and they were not so happy either.

I think of you often. Just remember that even if you don't believe in God ... HE believes in YOU.

Please continue to come and visit your friends here. We want to keep up with your life. Please don't give up on us.

Yes, Truthseeker, we are happy that you come to visit us!

One thing that I love about our Lord is that He respects our choices. And we extend that respect to you.

If you have not noticed God working in you, perhaps you can see Him in your friends here :)

I am so glad that you don't feel like ending it all, as you were before.

Please continue to share what is on your heart and ask us questions. We do enjoy having you here!

I'm glad you're still here, too, Truthseeker. I have a lot of mountains and valleys to climb and descend into as well. One thing I'm learning - never make a big decision when I'm in a valley when all is chaos and dissention. I hope you don't make your decisions then either.

I second what the others have already said. Also even though you don't think so God does love you. Jesus died for all, that includes you. And please continue to visit and post. We all love you too.

Thank you all for your kindness. I am feeling terrible right now. It s like a thousand needles are stuck inside my head. I am so angry with God. Last night i couldn t sleep because i was so filled with anger. I prayed several times calling Jesus a liar, a murderer, a loser, etc. and much more even worse things. I took my bible and after every false promise i wrote down 'liar' etc. and that his father is an a..ole too. I didn t ask to be born. The number one reason why i don t want kids is because when i look back after all the sh,t i have been through, i don t want to do that to others. I think that would be totally selfish. I hate God and i hate Satan they are really the same. God is like satan and satan is like God. Only God is stronger and satan is the loser. To me it is mind-boggling how someone can trust God. God is a liar and i hate him. There is nothing special in the bible, i ll use those fairytales for toilet paper. I am so frustrated, i want to scream, i want to let God feel what he has done to me. Maybe i am going to hang myself on a cross to illustrate that mental pain surpasses the physical pain. JEsus is so extremely selfish. I need help, i am programmed to believe the fairytales of the bible. I need to get rid of em. i need help!
