A drive-by?

Could be...a quick look at the site....how very sad....Koresh came to save America and will return again!

Yes, amazing. Yet given what we see these days, I guess we should not be too surprised. "Every wind of doctrine." Seems this is still blowing.

On February 28, 1993 the United States Government surrounded the Branch Davidian Mt. Carmel compound in Waco, Texas and began assaulting the members of a peacefull religious community.
Some 700 Law Enforcement Officers were deployed around the compound ............ the F.B.I. had sent 250 agents , the A.T.F. commited 150..............additionally there were officers from the Waco Police , U.S. Customs , The Texas National Guard , and the U.S. Army.
The Mt. Carmel Compound was surrounded with U.S. Army battle tanks , Rocket Helicopters , and armoured Police cars. Tear Gas cannisters , Assault weapons , and psychological tactics were used against David Koresh and his Branch Davidian community.
On April 19, 1993 the entire Mt. Carmel compound went up in flames , killing Koresh and most Branch Davidian members.
In February 1993 , before the A.T.F. assault , the community had around 130 members , including 45 women and 43 children.
During the assault , and in the final conflagration, 80 community members died , including 33 women ,26 men and 21 children .
5 men and 1 woman died on february 28.
35 exited during the seige, including 9 women , 5 men and 21 children.
83 members remained inside to the very end, including 35 women, 21 children and 27 men.
32 women {including two, which were pregnant} , 21 men and 21 children , a total of 74 died on April 19, 1993.
9 members survived the April 19 fire , including 6 men and 3 women.


The above reads as an indictment against all of us who could not, at the time of its occurring, raise a voice of

conscience.

One could hardly give a dink about the man's dogmas and doctrines - given the above.

There are 30-plus thousand different and differing Protesting .orgs holding to "every wind of doctrine".

So, Koresh was weird and came to that weirdness via Traditional Adventism and Shepherd Rodism. That should not excuse the indifference and separation - the rest of us exhibited.

Our distancing and dislike for all things Koresh, in the face of what was occurring, was nothing less than shameful.

I witnessed the We Wee Remnant attempting to distance themselves from Koresh on doctrinal grounds - making no attempt to raise its voice against the absolute horror which was occurring to American citizens. I surmise that it was because of a misguided and manufactured adherence to the principle of

"Separation..."

Don't mind me - I dislike seeing lambs slaughtered.

I'm referring to David Koresh's teachings. If anyone wants to accept them, they are free to do it, but I believe they are false.

I suppose I’m missing the voice of conscience.

Hey, the guy told everyone he was Jesus returned. How could anyone honestly believe what he taught?

What's that!?

Who cared what he believed or taught? did the children share his doctrinal beliefs? I daresay... not. Yet, we the people,

through representation and the good office of our govt - killed women and children by fire, first inflicting on them the painful effects of CS gas - for what?

Indeed, to accomplish what?

And where were the dissenting voices? Where was the particular and specific voice of SDAism? Without conscience and scrambling to disassociate themselves for embarrassment: CYA dogma.

Sheesh, sometimes I think Robert is right re empty pride.

CS gas dissolves the fatty oils protecting the skin with its periphary nerves. One drop upon the cheek causes such painful distress that a grown man will cry. We witnessed Combat Engineering Vehicles pumping CS gas with accelerant into the buildings of the Davidian Compound through large flex-hoses. The Israeli gas masks the Davidians supposedly had were manufactured only for adults - not for children. Those representing us

knew that.

Addendum: it is Internationally illegal to militarily use CS gas.

That's either the first or second most evil things I've ever seen.

That site was created by an organization that hates the Branch Davidians and wants to make them look like a great big joke.

They are probably Jesuits, or in league with them.

Or maybe they where possessed by the Devil to do it, or maybe they just want to pull a prank and get famous. Or maybe they want to start their own cult and trick people to become followers.

But I would say it looks like the work of the Jesuits. And the Jesuits probably have control over the FCC, so no one will be able to come against it in court.

I told you the Branch Davidian organization is now 100% owned and operated by the Jesuits. Anyone that joins them is being deceived by Jesuits who are deliberately trying to trick them, directly, or through poor, unwitting followers.

Now they can continue using the Branch Davidian front to make the whole SDA church, and teachings, look really bad.

The SDA church is not friends with the Papacy, and never will be. We never will be ecumenical, and will always be sworn enemies.



And David Koresh did not tell anyone that he was Jesus incarnate or anything like that.

We have nothing to go by, because all the evidence was destroyed. So now, the Jesuits can feed the people whatever they want them to believe.

Where are the tapes they made? Then we would know.

I think you are right.Yes Nan. Not sure why he got a likin to me but I got 5 emails from the man. Didn't bother to check out his link.

But this guy has 'drivin' by before. Not sure what his last message was. Couldn't have been any worse than this one from what you folks are sayin.

I can scarcely imagine anyone being interested in Koresh's theology or ideas enough to read or listen to his talks or sermons. Even if one thought he wasn't treated fairly, why would anyone think Koresh's beliefs are worthy of study and discussion? I remember hearing some of his "sermons" on the seals playing on the radio during the stand-off, and it was just crazy rambling.

Was he treated fairly by the US government? Probably not. But for me that is not the main question. The main question for me is whether I should waste my time thinking about what he said or taught, or even about what he did. As I read the story of his life, all I can think of is that this guy was obviously wrong. I find it incredible that anyone would have followed him.

My opinion is that his whole life was a denial of everything the Bible, the Spirit of prophecy and the Seventh-day Adventist church stands for.

I got an e mail from someone named Mark Anthony that was talking about the return of david koresh. David koresh ain't returning nowhere until the 2nd resurrection.

I got five emails from this spam man.
