But what is your son learning from your going to the Baptist church twice a month?
Thanks..I read into this some level of concern,,maybe??
That it is ok to go to a bible study on Sunday as well as Wednesday night... He usually doesn't go to the Baptist fellowship with my wife and I . He is also learning that I am not an exclusive SDA bigot who is intolerable of others of different persuasions. By my remarks..of the competency ..he also learns that some preachers really teach the WORD and some just slime through topical sermons and really don't know how to spiritually feed their flock.
BTW..you might not be tuned into the background of this Baptist buddy. I walked cold off the street and knocked on his ofice door and spent many lunches with him going over sabbath and law details and really had his attention. He values my input

Hi Michelle. Thanks for the input. My kids are 8 and 10. I see the pros and cons of having them with me or in their own service. All I know is they are much happier going off with the other kids than sitting with me.

Yeah... we have another room ..library room where the kids meet and talk movies instead of listening to the NFDMTTS.. Not surprised at all. What do we expect when they get the WORLD for all of their time and church for a couple hours a week?

Sid, I'm sorry, did I say something to make you feel this way? It wasn't my intention at all.
Noooo! Sorrry. I was just rambling on in my usual self loathing (and whining) manner.

LOL I'm lost too. Just ignore me. I'm a weirdo. I need to stop posting late at night when I'm out of it.

Don't worry about it. You're in good company there. I'm a weirdo too. How about we make a pact NOT to ignore each other. No I don't mean in blood or anything ... LOL.

that are my right, for myself AND my son.
Nico, Both you and JimBob in the post following have valid points. And having invited God to be Sovereign in my life I'm satisfied He can take that which isn't within my ability to control, work together for good. And this is not a light statement, Nico, since I have four children, all out of the Adventist faith, at least partially a result of influences from within the body of believers.
