This is why I share the 4 L's of the atonement..
Lie
Law
Liberty
Love..
Maxwell puts some input regarding the lie fix..it is related to trust
I like to input on the liberty aspect..it is cognitive and emotional
Forensics address the law aspect..it is related to power struggles and order.
All of it synthsized together gives a larger picture on the love aspect...if interpreted within the revelation of God's revealed attributes and character.
I have witnessed and been part of heated discussions related to the atonement issue..
What is really significant is to learn how it is related and is affected and affects notions contaminated by paganism/idolatry
