Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

It may well be that the world is denied miracle after miracle and triumph after triumph because we will not bring to Christ what we have and what we are. If, just as we are, we would lay ourselves on the altar of service of Jesus Christ, there is no saying what Christ could do with us and through us. We may be sorry and embarrassed that we have not more to bring--and rightly so; but that is not reason for failing or refusing to bring what we have and what we are. Little is always much in the hands of Christ.

I'm responding to Kellie's quote of William Barclay about how Christ can do much with what we bring to him. I went thru a devasting mental illness and recovered step by step with Christ's help. I wrote a book about it, which was a very difficult project that took a decade, because I'm not a secretary type that's good at paperwork, typing, etc. I did finish it and made several copies. I have a copyright. It's being published at a colleague's website. I have no idea if anyone has read it. I given some copies to people that had related issues. Publishers have refused it. But it is my love project i promised Jesus I would do to show how He helped me. God doesn't seem to need it. I guess that's okay. Maybe I should try harder to advertise it. I have done some of that, but nothing seems to grab hold. I go it alone with this, but have surrendered it to God..if He wants to use it, I guess He will show it somehow.

nomark,

I'd be interested in reading your story. Where can I find it online?

Kelly
