My husband and I are reading Desire of Ages again. We have read it through several times and each time marvel at the wonderful love of our heavenly Father and Jesus our Lord. Here is a quote we read this morning that thrilled our hearts:

"Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His. 'With His stripes we are healed.' " --p. 25.

While we're threading our way through this section thinking about Jesus,how about a(nother) poem of mine? I took a nosedive this week and for the first time since I was 16, a longggg time ago, I began to doubt God. I was searching for a reason to exist. Thanks for the posts on how much value we are to Christ and what we can become by dying to self. With His stripes we are truely healed. I can go on and face tomorrow ...
