** NET 2005, "THE PROPHECY CODE" - There are now 1902 sites
registered for "The Prophecy Code."
** SE7EN SIGNS, LIVE, VIA SATELLITE, April 2-9 from Forest Lake Academy
in Florida will be uplinked in both Spanish and English presentations
simultaneously. "Se7en Signs" is a comprehensive evangelism
experience designed to bring people to a decision for Jesus and prepare
them for a lifelong walk with Him. It will mobilize thousands of people
in evangelism and service.
This series is the first of several seminars that will be
uplinked in future years.

posters. See

** ADVENTISTS AND ADDICTIONS, a special award-winning issue of the
Adventist Review, has been reprinted and enlarged to include a section
on eating disorders. It is available for free distribution, thanks to
the help of a generous donor. This special issue contains first-hand
testimonies and candid accounts of Adventists who struggle with various
real addictions. It provides hope and medical resources for individuals
to begin healing emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Contact:
smithj@gc.adventist.org to order free copies for
distribution within your conference, local churches, or among loved ones
and friends. Include your name, complete mailing address (no P.O.
boxes), and number of requested copies. Orders will be filled on a first
come, first served basis.
** DESERTED WHEN THEY NEED US MOST? - Did you know that there are young
Adventist soldiers in Iraq who never receive any mail? Please remind
your churches of their plight and encourage them to organize small
groups who will keep in contact with a soldier, write to them, pray for
them and their families, send them care packages and support them
through rough times. Musical instruments are also needed.
Even children or children's groups can participate in this
ministry. Soldiers also would like to have things besides their own
meals that they can give to Iraqi children. More information is included
in the newsletters noted below.
Contact the Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries website at
www.adventistchaplains.org/ and click on "Adventists in the
Military." Scroll down to "Letters and Care Packages to Iraq," and
also read the newsletters from chaplains. The chaplains cannot give out
names of soldiers, but will give letters and care packages to a soldier,
who can then respond directly to the sender.
** GRADUATE INTENSIVES IN MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT - Andrews University
will conduct several intensives in their "Andrews in May" program on
community and international development, May 8-26. Choose from
three-week-long summer sessions in Italy, Kenya or the U.S. Practical
training will be offered in emergency response and relief, project cycle
management, and capacity building, as well as foundational courses in
development anthropology, ethics, organizational management, and applied
research methods. Up to 9 graduate-level credits available for just
three weeks of class work.
Contact:
www.andrews.edu/GRAD/CIDP/AiM or email
AUinMay@andrews.edu for more information on admission requirements,
dates, costs, and curricula.
