I would have totally lost myself in laughter! Ha!

This woman is a dear, dear friend. I haven't seen her in long time, but she is so very dear to my heart. It's all right that she greeted me this way. She's honest. She loves me and I know it.

It's the same sort of feeling I'd have if I were to go home to my grandmothers after having been away for a long time--it was a loving way of greeting.

And, besides, I need a hair cut and I know it.

========================================
There is nothing wrong in cutting ones hair, just make sure you have enought left for your "glory" and to show those that fall asleep in the chair after saying, "take all you want" a distinct contrast.
I am sure Mrs. Gray has seen women use these rubber gloves when handling these harsh hair products to protect their hands, yet then deliberately bath their hair in these poisons thinking that the body doesn't asorb them.

I will use great discernment when having my hair cut. As for those other products--I'll never use the stuff. I think natural hair color and texture are best. It's what God intended for me, so who's to question God's idea of beauty?

One question though. Last month I shaved my mother's hair to the length of about half an inch. She's going through chemotherapy and it was falling out anyway.

Can a wig still be considered glory?

Sorry Christine, this becomes a brand new ball game and I don't even know how to play/begin with these stipulations. Claim James 5:16, you will come up with the right answers. It works for me.

Loc: hopefully in Church and not on...
I am so glad I am a man.
I cant imagine being a woman and people at church inspecting me if my christian experience is true according to what I wear and my hair length. But I will share what sucks about being a man with my delicate sensibilities.

I live in the country and it seams all the country churches in my area(at least 5 within 1and a half hours from my doorstep)have cowboys, young and old. Ahnd it seams its ok for men to wear tight fitting blue jeans. Needless to say I didnt go up to him and talk to him. I wouldnt be able to look at his eyes. And I shant look dreamily into his eyes. So I avoided him a;together for I am weak and dont need his imagery prancing in my dreams.
A womens hair length doesnt distract most christian men. But ultra revealing clothes can distract the best of us.
I cant rebuke that cowboy at church for looking like a pornstar, Can I? Maybe someone here would do that for us weaker vessels. "Shame on you Sir! Have you no shame! this is a church not a meatrack!!!"
Do we have men rebuking ladies at church for having a short but becoming hairdo? Or a hairdohnt? Does this start at the foyer? Or do we wait for potluck dinner? Or maybe we gain their friendship and trust(that takes time) and after awhile we pounce(prayfully of course) . So glad I am man in baggy pants.

Somehow, that doesn't seem like just a change in hair...

I agree Christine. Even in the small reproduction, I can see the air-brushed effects. Wrinkles have been removed, and more.

Air-brushed? Hmm. I think perhaps it is a totally different person all together.

Modern photographic art can produce that change in a person.
