1. Bob Kyte, president of Pacific Press Publishing Association for the past 15 years, has notified the Board that he will not continue past the Constituency Meeting in August 2005, as the president of Pacific Press. The Board has recently appointed Dale Galusha, PPPA Vice-President for Sales and Ministries, as the President-elect. Galusha will become the president following the Constituency Meeting on August 11, 2005.
2. Gloria Eva, wife of former GC Vice President, W. Duncan Eva and the mother of Will Eva, has passed away.
3. Will Eva, editor of MINISTRY magazine, has accepted a call to be an Associate Pastor of the Spencerville Church, Spencerville, MD.
4. Byron Scheuneman, Vice President of ADRA, has accepted a position as a Vice President in Adventist Risk Management.
5. THE APPEARING, a five night series with Shawn Boonstra preaching, will be aired September 23-27, 2005. This will be a revival series to help prepare for the NET meetings that he will preach from March 10-April 8, 2006.
6. God still speaks to people through our evangelistic meetings. A man in Maryland who had been out of the church for more than 50 years attended the Walter Pearson NET 2004 series and has been reunited with the Adventist Church.
Another man in St. Louis attended for the first time on the night when Walter Pearson was preaching about tithe. The man made a commitment to return his tithe faithfully and within two days his salary was tripled.
7. The "Every Eye" video on the Second Coming of Jesus which is on the LifeTalk Radio website has been viewed over 5 million times since it was first introduced.
