A short report on GC Session elections, and where to find details about today's events.

From the managing editor ? Greetings from St. Louis, Missouri, where, until today, temperatures have reached nearly 100*F. Most registrations have been completed for the more than 2,500 delegates, staff, and exhibitors. Temperatures have cooled somewhat, business meetings have ended for the week, the convention floor is quiet except for the occasional practicing musicians, and it sounds like Sabbath is on its way.

GENERAL CONFERENCE ELECTIONS

The 58th General Conference Session, 2005, has elected the primary officers of the General Conference. President Jan Paulsen, Secretary Matthew Bediako, and Treasurer Robert Lemon have all been re-elected.

Following the initial elections, division caucuses met this afternoon to elect their president and executive officers. Reports of the elections will not be given until Sunday morning.

Coverage of the GC Session has never been better. Statistical, membership, and treasury video reports are uploaded almost as soon as they are given. Text will be available for all in the future. Detailed written news reports, audio and video recordings can be found on the Internet and on television.
