Club Adventist

Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Growing up in a large family with lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, etc it has been an experience watching them, one by one, take their last breath on this old ball of mud. Mother & Dad were the youngest of each of their families. Today only a few cousins remain, and from the "original" family, only mother and two aunts remain.

Aunt Thelma is 96 and has lived alone. Efficiently doing her own housework, cooking, handling her finances and personal care. She has remained steadfast in insisting that she will live in her home alone and take care of herself until God calls her home.

Sometime early Wednesday morning (or Tuesday night) she had a heart attack and fell in her living room. After approx 30 hours of attempting to contact her via telephone my cousin drove to her home and had to break into the house. Aunt Thelma had a heart attack, was semi-conscious but by some miracle is still holding on to life.

Her son and daughter ask for prayers for their mother, that whatever decision our Lord chooses will bring her peace and comfort to a very strong servant of our Lord, their mother.

Hello Doug,

Thank you, and everyone for your prayers. My Aunt Thelma is now resting until our Lord returns to open her tomb. Then she can enjoy her final home.

In Blessed Hope,
Naomi
