Christine, you put this sentence in your opening topic thread first message : "Post anything you like, as long as it's OFF TOPIC. Anything that is not OFF TOPIC will be rejected as unworthy conversation and you will asked to move your post elsewhere!"
Is it possible to come to some softer concensus of ruling without us plebs having to walk on egg-shells of the "..... will be rejected as unworthy conversation and you will asked to move your post elsewhere!" ?
We all have been seeing some serious responses to topic themes spontaneously opening within this "Off Topic" thread.
If we all were to be afraid of staying on-topic for a volley of 5-7 post message replies, it would be stiffling a much needed dialogue exchange.
Would it be alright if you, or anyone, would formulate mercifully a more workable parameter for usage in this 'Off-Topic' thread?

J'lem ? it seems so Jewish to do that with the city's name. They have as tradition abreviated Yahweh so to not desecrate it and now the shortcut for the holy City. Interesting. I didn't know they were doing that in print. J'lem would make a nice moniker name online. Turmeric

Woke up in the wee hours and watched Uncle Buck. So funny, so much like that embarrassing family member everyone has - you love 'em but you avoid 'em in public. At the end he's waving good-bye. Kinda sad. Made me think of my missing good-bye.

Has anyone seen Sir Arthur the Armor Bear-grrrr? He is soooo cute. He is a teddy-bear wearing the Ephesians 6 armor, each leather piece neatly labeled.
A friend of mine got one recently.
He's adorable!

Reminds me of a Christian kids' website I saw, featuring Gladly The Cross-Eyed Bear (read it out loud - it's the title of a hymn).
