MRs. G, Thanks for the laugh. I had forgotten the Swedish Chef and his instructions for making chocolate mousse! M

No, Wallace & Gromit are not on DVD yet...the movie has only just started at the theater a few days ago. We had a pleasant night out with a couple of friends we haven't seen for a while - fish & chips for dinner at a nearby restaurant and then the movie. OK...you can all report me to the church board now... aldona

YOu can see how up to date I am--I see the "coming attractions" preview and assume that I've already missed it! (not that it's showing in HK--but I don't know, maybe I should check) I so seldom go to a theatre to see a movie that I just don't keep up to date (I think the last one I saw was part 3 of LOTR). M

Aldona--is it "6 year old" scary? My 6 y/o adores Wallace and Gromit, but there are some scenes that, the first time, scared him. Is this one that is kid-safe and mother approved?

Not being a mommy yet, I'm not sure what constitutes "6 year old scary"...My next-door neighbor's 7-year old was very excited the other day to tell me she had seen "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". (Whereas I have seen the old version of the same, and thought it was very "dark" and questionable viewing for children.)
Can your 6-year-old cope with the sight of a giant furry rabbit the size of King Kong going on a nocturnal rampage and gobbling up everybody's prized vegetable gardens? (I think that was just about the worst of it.)
What was it that scared him about the previous W&G films? (Let me guess...was it Preston the malevolent cyber-pooch and the "Sheep-O-Matic" machine in "A Close Shave"?)

Isn't fall just a fabulous time of year? The air is cooler, the grass suddenly gets greener when the trees diminish their demand for water, the weeds have mostly given up trying to make more work for the gardener, pomegranates and persimmons will soon be ripe, and there is the promise of colorful leaves drifting off the trees, puddling around the trunks on the green grass below. I know exactly the tree I want to visit when that happens.
