Please keep my Aunt Lillian in your prayers. She apparently took a tumble and hit her head. From all appearances, you'd say she's had a light stroke. But the CT says otherwise...so far. Her speech is most affected. Her doc put her in the hospital last night and wants an MRI done but we live in a fairly rural area AND it's nearly Christmas, so this may be a "nearly impossible" task. However, as I told her son, I'm praying positively for her to be back home soon.

Thanks for the prayers for my aunt. I was able to visit with her some today. Her overall health seems ok, but her speech starts out ok then turns to jibberish. And she will only eat bread and coffee. Her daughter has tried repeatedly to put her favorite things she likes to eat or snack on, in front of her but my aunt says she is not hungry (she says that plainly) and won't eat. I even tried bringing her a plate from potluck at church today but got nowhere.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Specifically that she will start eating again. This is very troubling to my cousins more than her speech. But please pray that her speech improves as well.

If you consider popcorn and an apple an improvement as I do, then join me in saying Praise the Lord! My cousin has been racking her brain to come up with SOMETHING her grandmother will eat. They'd tried all sorts of things that my aunt so enjoys snacking on or just eating and got absolutely nowhere. So today Camille thought, popcorn and an apple...hmmm and it worked! PTL! My aunt ate the apple and popcorn!

They tried her on an Ensure shake but she wrinkled up her nose at that.

Thank You Jesus! We entreat Your mercy and assistance to continue for Puddle's aunt. We know YOU can do anything, and we thank You for Your tender care of us every single day.

Jesus, thank You for apples and popcorn. Thank You that puddle's aunt could and did eat. Thank You so much for simple abundance and blessing that delights us, and gives us Your assurance of watchful care and blessing.
