Elder Philip Lemon died around midnight Saturday night May 10th. He had cancer and hadn't suffered much from it before his fall the 26th of April. His funeral was Friday, May 16 in Buena Vista Seventh-day Adventist Church.
He served in Africa about 20 years in different capacities including President of Zaire conference.
He was president of the first Quebec Conference when it was divided from the Ont-Que conference back in the 60s; Secretary of the Canadian Union until his retirement to Buena Vista, Virginia where his son Wayne Lemon lives.
Bob Lemon is his son - the Treasurer of the world church in D.C.
