I am saddened to hear of the passing of my most favourite actors, Gregory Peck, at age 87.

I have only one word to describe him- class.

From a young age, I have always respected him. He was particular as to the roles he chose to play and he chose quality movies. To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my all-time favourite films. My son tells me that Peck's character, Atticus Finch, was voted the best Hollywood "good guy" of all time.

Another thing I admired in him was his long time marriage to his wife Veronique, in a career field which has a sad history of infidelity and multiple marriage and divorce.
