FRIDAY FAX
March 3, 2006
A News and Information Service for Leaders in North America
- RESOURCES -
** IT'S NOT TOO LATE... YET! - There is still time to sign up to
carry the "Revelation Speaks Peace" series via ACN/Esperanza or
3ABN. NET 2006 begins next Friday night at 7:00 p.m. Eastern, 7:30 p.m.
Central, and 7:00 p.m. Pacific Times. Don't disappoint those who
attended "The Appearing" by not following up with this series.
Contact the host site to learn more:
www.unlockthesigns.com/host, or call ACN at 800-226-1119. As of March
1, there were 817 churches registered. We're hoping for 1,000 by the
start of the series.
There now will be closed captioning for all of the NET 2006
programs. The Nightly Outlines, Minute-By-Minute Schedule and Nightly
Quizzes can be downloaded from the host site.
Test Broadcast Thursday, March 9, at 7 p.m. ET, with
rebroadcasts at 7 p.m. in all time zones via the ACN/ ACN/Esperanza
Channel. Boonstra will speak for 30 minutes, giving pastors and church
members an overview of the series and explaining how local churches can
make the most of this outreach. This will be the time to test the
satellite connection and equipment to be certain that everything is in
place for the start of the series on Friday night. All sites should plan
to test their equipment, find the correct channel (see
www.acn.info) and
be sure that all is running well for opening night of NET 2006, March
10.
** DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MARCH 20 FOR SONSCREEN SUBMISSIONS - Please ask
local churches to notify all of their Adventist student and professional
filmmakers and media enthusiasts! The SONscreen Film Festival IV will be
held April 20-22 at the Adventist Media Center in Simi Valley,
California.
The North American Division wants to heighten potential and
nurture opportunities for young people interested in visual media, and
to find ways to increase the expertise available to our Church. If you
saw the SONscreen Showcase at the 2005 GC Session which highlighted the
best works from the previous three years since SONscreen began, then you
know that we have young people with a lot of talent, and we want to help
provide networking and recognition for our aspiring filmmakers and
videographers.
Help support our young adults by notifying them of this event,
and by attending the SONscreen Festival.

www.sonscreen.info for information and to register, or
