I got some rather disturbing news yesterday. I am very stressed right now and could use prayers. I need direction from above.

Father in Heaven, be near to your daughter Amelia this day. Let her feel Your soothing hand upon her, wiping away the pressure and the stress. Let her sense Your presence as a comfort and a refreshment. Calm her spirit, give her peace, and light a clear path for her in any decisions she needs to make. Grant her clarity of thought and the guidance of Your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name and for Your glory. Amen.

You are not alone. It just seems that way right now. Allow God to carry you for a while. He will. He will lead you by carrying you in the right direction.
Sometimes we need to "Rest in the Everlasting Arms of God" (Mark Lowery) Just breathe in and breathe out, let Go and let God. Most of the time this is easier said than done.
I am praying for you.

I'm still praying for you. Financial problems are really tough to deal with ... they attack our self=esteem at it's very core. I really believe the evil one uses money more often than anything else to turn our eyes away from the cross.
Other than myself, I have known many people who thought they just couldn't make it through a really difficult time, continued to pay their tithe, put their trust in our Lord and somehow they (I) made it through.
FWIW, sometimes we have to set our priorities (housing, transportation, food, heat,insurance, etc_ and allow other things to "slide" for a while.
