Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Hey,

I think we have a chance to have a good lesson this sabbath.

It deals with internal cognitive and altruistic themes...not the typical stuff....nitty gritty stufff!!!

"My thoughts are not your thoughts...."
wow that is loaded!!!!

And delving into the ritualistic selfish religious sabbath observance verses an altuistic attitude...and approach..
THAT can sure challenge some sabbath "LAY activities" and the usual...
COMPLACENT, APATHEIC, PASSIVE, INDIFFERENT STATUS QUO!!!!

YOU KNOW..THE USUAL....GIMMEE, GIMMEEE, GIMMEE, I NEED , I NEED ..FEED ME AT CHURCH STUFF

I hope there are some who do a little home work and bring some lively challenging , moral decision making goodies to their class..

Why do you go?

I rarely go.... All the Sabbath Schools in our area... and there are only two... don't allow much member participation.

We worship at home....

Quote:

B-
With the word of God in his hands, every human being, wherever his lot in life may be cast, may have such companionship as he shall choose. In its pages he may hold converse with the noblest and best of the human race, and may listen to the voice of the Eternal as He speaks with men. As he studies and meditates upon the themes into which "the angels desire to look" (1 Peter 1:12), he may have their companionship. He may follow the steps of the heavenly Teacher, and listen to His words as when He taught on mountain and plain and sea. He may dwell in this world in the atmosphere of heaven, imparting to earth's sorrowing and tempted ones thoughts of hope and longings for holiness; himself coming closer and still closer into fellowship with the Unseen; like him of old who walked with God, drawing nearer and nearer the threshold of the eternal world, until the portals shall open, and he shall enter there. He will find himself no stranger. The voices that will greet him are the voices of the holy ones, who, unseen, were on earth his companions --voices that here he learned to distinguish and to love. He who through the word of God has lived in fellowship with heaven, will find himself at home in heaven's companionship. {Ed 127.1}

That is soooo true. I know when it's an angel, I know when it's the Spirit, I know when it's Jesus, and when it THUNDERS in my very being... it's Abba Father.

Although.... once...when Jesus commanded a SEEKING OF HIS WILL... it thundered too... but I still knew it for Jesus... there's just a timbre to Abba Father's thundering that is unmistakable and indescribable... It's like ... if the Universe had a Voice.....

I cannot wait to see Jesus and hear with my physical ears what He has whispered in my mind and heart. I cannot wait to speak face to face with my angel, who has brought messages more than once. I cannot wait to bow before the Throne of the Most High.... will I be able to do any thing more than let the tears flow?

Oh Abba Father, please hasten Thy Hand... Let my Bridegroom come soon!
