Heat Wave! Dead Cows.

I heard that across California(my state) ,at the end of the week,  there was thousands of dead cow carcasses. Thousands! All falling over dead from the heat! I worked outside all week from 6 in the morn till 2! I am glad I didnt fall down from the heat, I am not that young anymore. and the poor chickens! I am sure their numbers were high also.  They should change the name of our church here in this small town. The Seventh Day Adventist Rotting Carcass Church.

Now you're speaking in understatements, Gail! Gay4Jesus, I'm sorry all those animals lost their lives, as well as the 140 people who didn't survive this horrible heatwave in California. I am hoping that the states that are nou experiencing the heatwave will learn from what happened here and be able to save lives! Halfstep Denise

I am just glad that the over 100 heat went away here in Washington. It nice to beable to go outside for hours instead of minutes.

I think of the cooling shade of the trees. In that last torrid blast, I'm sure that many of them will catch fire in forest fires
