I've just done a bit of an edit (unilaterally - hope that's OK, NormF) to collapse all four of the 'The Basics' sticky threads into one. I think it reduces the appearance of too much rigidity in this forum, and also frees up some space on the front page so more threads can be seen. I completely deleted the 'active moderation' thread, since we are no longer using active moderation in this forum.

Hope these minor and largely cosmetic changes enhance the usabibility of the Origins forum... and I'm delighted to see some more discussion occurring here.
