Club Adventist
Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don’t see things the way you do.
And don’t jump all over them every time they do or say something you don’t agree with
– even when it seems that they are strong on opinions but weak in the faith department.
Remember, they have their own history to deal with. Treat them gently. Romans 14.1: The Message

Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity
3ABN has what might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reach approximately 30,000,000 souls with the Gospel by getting Dish Network to add us to their channel lineup. But we can’t do it without your help. We need you to enlist the help of your Church as well as friends, family and the local community in a letter writing campaign requesting Dish Network to carry 3ABN on their basic package. You may address your letters and postcards to:

Mr. Eric Sahl
Senior VP Programming
Dish Network
9601 S. Meridian
Englewood, CO 80112

Thank you for your help in this tremendous evangelistic opportunity!!

Can you believe it???

There are actually Adventists who are trying to have show like "It Is Written" "Evangelistic Series" and several live changing show NOT GO ON THE FREE-TO-VIEW Dish Network?

AND they are developing strategies to stop this?

Yes Stan, it is difficult to understand this element of some member's belief structure. Too bad ... so sad.

It is an exciting time in which we live and we should all contribute as much as possible to the efforts to move this ministry forward.

BTW, they tell us that informal letters, written on plain paper are the most effective. Ordinary viewers, requesting extrodinary programming.

What are the reasons being given for opposing this? Are people afraid it will become a case of "selling out" and then the ministry of 3ABN would be compromised? Or what?

I've already signed an online petition to get 3ABN on dish network. Also, I am hoping to get my regular dish television turned back on soon.

I will let you guys know when Dish gets 3ABN. I have Dish and will let you know when 3ABN comes on. Right now I have 3ABN and Hope and LLBN on another satelite dish separate from the Dish network.

Question, I have Dish and 3ABN and receive all the Adventist proramming ... but it is a bit of a hassle to switch from one to the other.

Is there an easier way than going to menu, input, source list, TV, AV1 etc?

hi Naomi,

If your TV does not have inputs for several devices you can go to WalMart and buy an AV selector. You plug all your sources into it and then when you want to choose one you push a button on the selector and there it is! The only draw back for us who remote everything is that this is a manual selector. That means you have to get up to switch it \:sad

That is the cheapest way I know to do this. Cost: $19.99 - $24.99

I will have to do some checking...but ...the technician that hooked up my Hope/3ABN dish did it in such a way that DISH Network is in default position. If I shut it off with the DISH system remote then I can use the Hope/3ABN remote. It is super simple ..Just a case of turning one off and the other on.Regards, Don
