1. Juan Prestol, NAD Treasurer, is conducting a Week of Prayer in a
church in the Dominican Republic where he grew up.

2. Russ Johnson, Alaska Conference President, reports that (a) they
are planning to conduct 30 lay-conducted and youth-conducted full
evangelistic meeting in Alaska in '04, plus the regular
evangelist-conducted and pastor-conducted meetings; (b) they have sent
out 214,000 Bible study cards with the promise of following up each
lead; (c) the conference bought enough '04 devotional books, "Higher
Ground," to equal 10% of their membership to give out to new '04
baptisms, expecting a 10% baptismal growth rate this year.

3. Over 500 people have sent in the Sow 1 Billion card to the Voice of
Prophecy asking for Bible studies

4. Shawnee Mission Medical Center was recently named one of the
nation's 100 Top Hospitals by Solucient, the leading source of health
care business intelligence. The award recognizes hospitals that have
achieved excellence in quality of care, operational efficiency,
financial performance and adaptation to the environment. It's a big
deal.

5. Tom Mostert, President of the Pacific Union, was honored by the
California Healthcare Association in recognition of 17 years as board
chair of Adventist Health. The presentation was made by Duane Dauner,
president of California Health Care Association, which represents the
interests of nearly 500 member hospitals.

6. At a board meeting of the Loma Linda Medical Center it was pointed
out that in the business of the medical center, it is necessary to spend
1.6 million dollars per day. That works out to the hospital spending
more than $1150 every minute of the day.

7. The Hawaii Conference has mailed 165,000 of the Sow 1 Billion
cards.
